So speech was made, tears shed and water-proof mascara gone, the wedding ended, and it's time for the maid of honor to rest and sleep.
I did not sleep any more than 3 hours the night before, despite the fact that I did not sleep any more than 4 hours the night before that. Too much on mind the whole night. Exhausiton took back sheet to nervousness, methinks.

They were giving out flowers that they used for the wedding, so I took a whole bunch home.

Here are lilies on the counter between the kitchen and the living room. Adore the smell!!
On the head of my bed are roses to watch over me while I sleep.
