Awaiting Narnia 3

At the theater to view The Book of Eli T pre-purchased the tickets for Narnia 3 that's coming out in February 2011 (Feb...!?whaaaa?! they have got to be shitting me!Why do they always have to have us anticipate like crazy when it comes to new films?).

And with the tickets they gave us these:

.....oh....kay. You say? Well, watch!

Voila!

Aslan!!

The cutest thing I've ever created with my own hands.

The work of the day reads "the bible."

Inspired by "The Book of Eli" that I just blogged about.

And I tried this one again, and I think I did a better job than the last time. See any improvements?

And some stuff I did just for fun: a path of flowers under the moon. And I rather like how it came out.

Film Report -The Book of Eli

Just saw it on big screen, and loved it!

When T told me he wanted to see a movie "The Walker", I had never heard about it. Then a minute into the movie, I realized it was the Jap version title (I don't know why they do that sometimes). And, of course, when Danzel Washington started sleighing the living day lights out of the highway robbers in "his manner" I thought, "Golly, T, must you drag me to this kind of flicks?" But soon I started paying more attention when he started reciting lines from the book of psalm, and I was right in doing that.

The film must have been out in the states for a long time, and how come no one on facebook told me about it? Geez, guys. Thanks!

Oh, and on a personal note, Mila Kunis has never looked better!

Fashion Report -To The Max!

I used to go on a vintage-shop hopping in West Hollywood about once a month, but after college, most of my much-needed retail therapies took place at South Coast Plaza and Fashion Island in Newport Beach. Sorry, for those of you whose eyes are rolling, you are readin' a blog by an ex-valley girl from OC here!

Oh, and here in Japan, I just don't buy clothes that often for a reason that the trends and styles here don't quite fly for me. I still Bluefly my work gears and dating outfits for the most part, much in awe to the international shipping.

So, I was pretty excited when I smelled that vintageness in the air at the store I was taken to. Instantaneously did it bring me back the good ol' days of West Hollywood. It's surprising how just a whiff of air to your nose can bring back memory and you feel like you are living that moment all over again, even the kind that you never thought you had in your system anymore.

Anyway, I was browsing the vintage store with much excitement, feeling like the college girl that I was, and came across this maxi skirt!

Loooooooooooooooooooooooooove it!

Not a big fan of maxi anything as the trend seems to go of late, but I know good things when I see them.

Dinner for A Maid of Honor

I've been trying to lose a few pounds for the past couple of weeks.

I need to be in a very fitting halter dress next weekend for my friend's wedding, and to give a speech in front of 200 people in it. And I fucking refuse to be a 30-year-old maid of honor whose arms are floppy and tummy plump, looking like a no-wonder-she-is-always-a-bride's-maid-never-a-bride sorry-ass woman. I'm gonna work my walk and come up looking fantabulous, give a fantabulous speech and leave the podium fantabulously, if there is to be a podium. Never mind that it's my bride friend who should be glowing and beaming there.

So anyway, my dinner cannot be mac 'n cheese now. It cannot be complex carbs. Nor fats. Nor sugar. Nor dairy. So, for me, that only leaves me no choice but to dig in a bowl of Kelogg's all bran with soy milk for dinner.

Must think fantabulous... must think fantabulous...

Being Wire-less Just Got Better!

Hello, wire-less world!

May I proudly present to you my new cell!!

Thank you, docomo, for the lovely photos!

God knows my love for Kate Spade is only Himalaya-high. So when they produced the collaboration with docomo, the cell phone company with which I've been faithful my whole Japanese life, I only had to blink half way to say "I'm getting it!"

By God, its cuteness is beyond words.

Until next time,
